Gaffney Little Theatre

  “Gaffney Little Theatre is an education and literary organization whose purpose is to stimulate interest in art, music, literature, and dramatics in persons of all ages; to educate them with trained supervision and direction in amateur dramatics; to cultivate dramatic talents; to teach grace, good speech, stage presence and self-confidence by affording the people of the community the opportunity of making public appearances; and to stage dramatic and musical productions for the entertainment of the community.”

Mission: To encourage and nurture the education, appreciation and creation of all areas of the visual arts and crafts, to promote the artistic works of its members through an on-going marketing effort; to give the general public, as well as students and artists, the opportunity to participate in activities, lectures and events that will provide insight into the importance and impact of the visual arts in our community and throughout history.

The Cherokee County Arts Council
 
“The Arts Council was founded in 1977 as a joint effort between the Limestone College and Cherokee County to provide quality cultural programs.  We have been providing evening concerts and school programs for 4th and 5th graders in the county ever since.  The concerts are held in Fullerton Auditorium. The executive board is made up of 2 Limestone Music Faculty, business leaders and other Arts enthusiasts from the area.”
