The highly successful and popular "Shindig at the Gaffney Cabin" Free Concert Series wrapped up its 2010 run on Friday, August 20th, with a performance by Spartanburg band, Milgram's 27 (M27). 2010 saw the largest, most enthusiastic crowds ever to attend a "Shindig". Performances featured bands from several different towns in the surrounding area, all playing a wide array of music from several differnt genres.
The bands that performed were Night Shift (Sammy O'Banion), Mason Drive, Back Alley Blue, Dallas Reese Duo, Summer Daze, Jeff Luckadoo, Carolina Union, The Dynamic Breakers, The Professors of Soul, and Milgram's 27. These bands played music ranging from Beach and Pop music, to Blues and Country, and everything in between.
The City of Gaffney would like to thank everyone for helping to make 2010 the best year yet for the "Shindig at the Gaffney Cabin" Free Concert Series. We hope you will all come out and join us in April 2011, when we kick off the next run of "Shindigs".
